Hardware-Design
Exelonix has many years of experience from numerous IoT projects. With our expertise, we are able to develop hardware that is often ready for series production in the first step, thus avoiding costly new designs. We select components according to individual project requirements and take into account criteria such as availability, costs, reliability, environmental conditions and design risk in addition to the hardware design.
From the outset, our aim in the design process is to achieve an EMC and thermally perfect hardware design. We are used to incorporating the mechanical requirements into the design process and know from experience the effects of the layout on PCB production and assembly. We have reliable and harmonised processes with our assembly service providers, whereby functional prototypes are first created and then transferred to series products.
Implementation of IOT cloud applications
We provide our customers with our IoT Cloud as a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), which can be customised to meet specific customer requirements. The IOT Cloud comprises the following modules:
- Device management
- InfluxDB time series database
- Grafana data dashboard for visualising IOT data & data analysis
- Grafana Alerting for information
For customers who want to use their own backend resources for the final realisation of the IOT solution, we often use our IOT cloud solution for the proof-of-concept (PoC) phase of the IOT project.
